Ladies feast your eyes on this magnificent hunk of a man (don't drool either)! This is the fabulous Idris Elba, you may know him from movies such as his latest

Takers or Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls!

Why?

Because he has a gorgeous set of bedroom eyes that I feel are always for me and everything about him from his walk to his sexy British accent screams MALE!

What's your guilty pleasure?

Soda, any kind of soda but mainly Pepsi and Dr. Pepper! I sneak it even when I have strict orders not to at times! I love soda!

Did you marry your first true love?

No, unfortunately I haven't encountered my first true love... Then again maybe he's in my life now! (things that make you go hmmm!)

Is there somebody out there in this world that you once knew or still know that you never got around to sharing your true feelings to? There may be more than just 1 person out there, maybe you're the silent and shy type, maybe you won't say it because you know that they already know what you feel. Who is this person and what would you say to them if they were standing in front of you at this very moment? (LOVING words ONLY!)

He is a guy that I was once engaged to... You went off to college and while waiting for you to return I became impatient (sucks), you probably would have been my husband today and we would have a blessed marriage and beautiful children to raise together. I apologize for your broken heart and if I could go back in time I would go back to the day after church when you proposed to me.

I love lipgloss, I sleep in it, when I wake up I brush my teeth and re-apply it, I wear it all day. I have about twelve tubes at a time (if my daughters don't take it).

Hello World! I apologize for being MIA! I had a few things to deal with on the home front but, everything is all good now! Anyhoo I completed my first creation for the Scrap Yourself Design Team! We are having an ABC challenge, scrapping our ABC's, My letter this week was I! What better to scrap about than "I"... Lol, Just kidding, HaaaaHaaaa! I really had fun with this challenge and was able to complete one of my many titles that I've had hidden in my journal!

The title of my layout is I Desire to Inspire, which is something that I thrive to achieve with every creation. All of the ladies have been rocking the ABC challenge and were very Inspirational to me.

On to some other things,On Thanksgiving Day 7 years ago I was in the hospital giving birth to these two beautiful Identical Monsters!

Boooohoooo, I don't have any babies anymore and I all of a sudden have the desire to have another one (ssssshhhhhhh that is a secret)! Tears!

Forced Mojo!

You know the worst thing in the world of Scrapbooking is to lose your mojo. Well mine tried so hard to fail me for the last week or so. Yesterday I went through stacks of paper collections after paper collections to find my mojo, It seemed that I had the design in my head but couldn't figure out which patterns to use, but no that wasn't it either, I didn't know how to embellish, talk about feeling defeated... After a while I said heck no, said a prayer, did some praising, pulled out my Crate Paper Restoration collection and whipped this out:

And then I decided I wanted to use some Pink Paislee 365!

Then unfortunately I needed to go to sleep (which still didn't happen) so I stopped there, I have so many designs , colors, photos, techniques, and embellishments in mind that I need to put on 12 x12 that it is ridiculous. Tuesday is my off day so you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be getting my Scrap on!

Up in the middle of the night as usual, Never getting enough rest... There are 24 hours in a day and during that 24 I have to balance God first, Family and Friends, Work, Scrapbooking, School, and then everything else thereafter, yes that is in order of importance....Lol! A Sigh of Relief! Creative Scrappers Sketch 119 as well!

Ahhhhhh! Phew!!!!!! School started back today and for me it is such a joyous occasion and a relief! This has been the longest summer I have ever had in my life! I can't tell you enough how happy and proud I was as I dropped these three little girls off at school this morning. I have been one busy mommy over the last 3 weeks and now it's all about me and my scrapping again, everyone and everything else has to get in where they fit in!!! Yes!!!

On to some Scrappy things! Seriously if you all saw my bedroom or better yet scrap room, you all would think I was insane. It is horrible in here. I am not bold enough to post a photo though, don't want to be judged. LOL!

Hey all!

A while back (last CHA) my friend Taj White and I were having a very important discussion about the must have products from CHA, well as usual we agreed on all the must haves, but she recommended that I get Dear Lizzy by American Crafts and I disagreed, only because at the time I was on a different paper high. Well after looking at the entire line of Dear Lizzy, and we all know that it is a huge line I felt compelled to buy it. Long story short I am just now creating with it and we are in the midst of another CHA where there is new Dear Lizzy products. Scrap Happens. Here goes my goodies!

and stay tuned for more in the next couple of days because as I said there is a lot of product in this collection and I am using it!

To God be the glory for me having an awesome 2010! This has been one Scrappy and otherwise good year! I have been published in three online magazines this year, Scrap N' Art, Scrapstreet and Srapbook News and Review! A total of 12 layouts!!!! I am working on some paper magazines also, as soon as I get those I will have reached the ultimate for the year (For me anyway)! I had the most amazing birthday on the 25th of May thanks to my wonderful friends! In honor of my 28th birthday I created this layout for our new challenge over at Candy Shoppe Designs to celebrate birth.

The girls and I went to visit my grandfathers grave site a couple of weeks ago and they asked can we get dressed up to do so... So we did... Well after that we were all sitting around and I decided since we look so cute we should have a photo shoot! Well we went to a water park to do so... I told them while we were there that I would allow them to get wet in their dresses if they first gave me some good photos! They did.. so this is what we did after...

Lol! Don't you just love it! The other mothers at the park were outraged... So I joined the kids, Unfortunately I didn't get photos of that!

Scrappy Mess!

Okay so I had my first scrappy illness... I had a bad case of Scrappers Block last week and I seriously think that it caused me pain. I take that back I don't think I know it did. I was an emotional wreck, I even took out some of my distress on my family, I was snappy, cranky, and just straight up rude... Today is a different day and I am so ready to get scappy... ROTFL... I never want to experience that again but I know it might happen...That was painful, I felt really achey and hurt. I did create during that funk but, It just wasn't what I wanted to create.

On a good note here are a few layouts:
This first one was created for http://thecolorroom.ning.com/ , this site is brand new it Just launched... The color room is full of some of the most creative scrapbookers on earth (get it good ladies)! Here is the color pallet:

The yellow flowers on this layout were handmade with white Bazzill cardstock and painted with Making Memories paint and the Prima flowers were Spritzed with Shimmerz colors Sea Foam and Caribean Sunset!

Prima has been booming this year and I was fortunate enough to be able to cop a lot of their products.. Here are some of the projects created using Prima:

Finally I started to use Nook and Pantry by Basic Grey; Not the easiest line to use but I did it with some inspiration from my friend Taj and Creative Scrappers sketch #94.

Basic Grey Rocks!

So I was totally grossed out when Basic Grey released Origins, because of course me being the girly girl that I am I said to myself eeeeeew, thats yucky ,Green and

brown...Lol. To make a long story short I saw it in person and I had to have it and I have to tell you that it is by far my favorite collection this year so far!

Oh and I Spritzed my white Bazzil cardstock with Shimmerz Spritz colors Tuscan Sun and Eucalyptus!

The flowers on these layouts are all handmade with the coordinating patterned papers!

I was also able to use some of my Sugar Rush by Basic Grey!

OMG! I am so thrilled with the new products and scrappy Divas in this world of ours lately! There is some fantastic inspiration out there, I mean incredible!

Some of my favorite manufacturers at the moment:

Prima Marketing is "blooming" right now! The flowers, the bling, the pearls,the papers, and all the rest of their scrappy yummies are amazing! I'm Lovin' it!(Mc Donald's)

Basic Grey, ooooohhhh!~ I can't wait for that Greenhouse collection, it is fan-tabulous (I am always creating a new word)! And at first I looked at Origins and thought Yuck! But now I am all over it! I can go on and on forever about Basic Grey (as everyone knows)!

OMG!!! Shimmerz Paints is killing the paint game! Those Vibez are amazing! Their design team is fab!

I never thought I would say this but I am feeling Websters Pages! Their new lines are Hot! Hot! Hot!

Oh and I can't wait to get that new My Litte Shoebox, Super Cute right? Fabulous!

It's Been a While!!!

Well hello to all my friends, I have missed you all so much but I have been gone so long that I don't even know where to start...Since I have to start somewhere I thought I would start by updating my blog...

Where have I been?
The girls and I finally got our own place after several long months,It is a goergeous well decorated two bedroom apartment that I adore with all my heart, my whole world feels at peace when I enter my door at night after a long days work... I will post some pictures soon.I will finally be divorced soon, good news for me, sad news for others...We had a really tragic death in our family that caused a stumble for some of us... It feels so good to be going on to the next level in my life...Single working mother of three, that's me...

Scrapworld...
I am so out of touch with the one thing that was the calm in my storm, scrapbooking. I don't know what I want or what is new, I need to be filled in, I am unpacking that part of my life now and ready to get back down to business...

Well that's all I can really share at this time...Know that I am doing well, very prosperous in all my endevours and I hope to be back in our world soon... I need to find the time...

Back to School Shopping!

All three of the girls are in School this year, so imagine the expense of back to school shopping! The twins are going to the Kindergarten, amazing, I can't believe it's been almost six years since I had the little girls! Dana is going to the second grade, I made the mistake of buying a size 8 slim in her jeans.. just returned from JCP returning the too small things! My budget was $1000 for the 3 of them and I spent $1200, Yikes!!! I found the cutest uniforms though!!!! Can't wait to scrap back to school pics, i was thinking maybe I will buy the June Bug collection again??? BTW JCP is having a huge 70% off sale and Buy one get one for $1!!!

As you all know I have three daughters,what you might not know is that I have a God Daughter who is in High School. All I remember is her being a little girl and recently I saw her and I am just amazed at the young lady she has become, soon my very own will be there and I know I am going to say "Where did they come from" lol! The twins are starting Kindergarten this year, that makes me emotional, I am not an emotional person, but I feel all teary eyed talking about it! Candy Shoppe Challenge!

Here is my take on the challenge, which is called " From this day forward" since June is considered wedding month!

The Challenge was to include something old: My ribbon and the pink flower are old items, something new: the photos of Dana are new, Something borrowed: The sketch provided by Jennifer, and of course something Blue: The obvious, flowers, thickers bling and patterned paper!

Scrap Vacation!

Okay so I have been on vacation for a week and all I have tried to do is buy and organize all of my scrap goodies, Scrap, and be active on scrapbook.com; i succeeded in doing so. My birthday was also on Monday the 25th (Memorial Day), so I got money, gift cards and a few packasges from distant, but near and dear to my heart friends: Here are a few new layouts:

Birthday Girl: I have so much fun using Basic Grey's Lime Rickey that I am purchasing a whole new set; This is my precious 7 year old Dana!

Chillaxin: the twins had a photo shoot for a week straight so I have a ton of new pics of them to scrap, which is good cause the seem to think all I scrap is Dana!
The young lady in the photo is my dear cousin Dennaya!

Bloom and Grow: This precious little one is my dear friend Taj's daughter Bailey, The papers and embelies are mostly My Minds Eye's bloom and grow collection (hence the title) Also some Prima flowers!

Perfect Harmony: This photo is of the twins curiously exploring the yard during their little "photo shoot"! This collection is by Crate Paper called Lillian!

Natural Beauty: Jayanna; Crate Papers Lillian collection

Baby Doll: In this photo is my DD Jayanna, who I scrap the least because she hates to stand still for a photograph or if you take one she gets angry, so I found a baby pic! This features My Minds Eye paper and embellies also some heidi Swapp fresh and Free!

I am feeling a little overwhelmed lately and while I am supposed to be packing, cleaning , and moving, I have been loving my girls and scrapping to take away the feelings of anxiety and loss! Sounds sad huh?? Well to be perfectly honest I am okay with all the changes. I am however not okay with packing and moving, I just need to get this move over with quick! Well in the process I have made some new creations using My Little Shoebox!
